Who am I?
I’m a wife – married for 11 years. To the guy who brews coffee every morning and doesn’t complain about being the one to replace light fixtures.
I’m a mother – with (almost) 6 kids, ages 15, 12, 11, 9, 8, and 4. The “almost” is our 15 year old, who we’re currently in the process of adopting. That’ll be four girls, two boys. And they love being a part of my projects. You’d think a Lowe’s bag with a can of spray paint inside was a Christmas present. I can give my 11 and 9 year olds something to hunt for in a store, and sometimes I like their picks better than my own!
Most importantly, I’m me. A woman who doesn’t have a lot of free time, but makes the most of what little time there is. Whether it’s stopping by my favorite local secondhand shop, crafting until 1 a.m., or convincing a friend to paint with me, I make time for me.
If you stop by my house, I’ll put on a pot of coffee and set out a couple of mugs. Because there’s always time for coffee.
